Today, in this article, I want to share with you my water fasting results I experienced last year, that I hope will inspire you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ve never thought that one day in my life I would be doing a water fasting diet for a whole week. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For me, to only imagine I would be eating nothing at all a whole day was something really out of this world but when I did it, I didn’t die (luckily) as some regular people think. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instead, I felt reinvigorated and healthier than before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why I Started Water Fasting?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Well, a few years ago, I followed a medium carb low-fat diet called the Weighless Program. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Personally, I won’t call it a diet. Instead, it was a healthy way of eating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I ditched everything that contributed to my weight gain<\/a> such as fast food, unhealthy salty cakes, deep-fried foods, and soft drinks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Long story short, I lost 41 pounds in 7 months, which I know is slow for some people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But what I loved about this low carb diet is that you are able to lose weight week after week without starving yourself. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

That thing worked! Slowly but it worked and I was able to get rid of my 41 pounds of extra fat<\/a>. I went from 76.7kgs to 58kgs and I have been sitting at my new weight for almost two years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And then I started taking back some weight. Not because the program wasn’t good but I started eating some junk foods again…Shame on me I know!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, I wanted to know how to lose that excess weight as fast as I could.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I started researching about the different and safe ways to lose weight fast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I stumbled upon water fasting<\/a>, also known as the zero diet. Frankly, it was a tough decision for me because I simply love eating, and to only imagine I would cut down on everything except water was a bit scary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But this was the best decision I made to get back to my ideal weight again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

How I Started Water Fasting?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Firstly, I prepared myself mentally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you do something that drastic for the first time, you’ve gotta get prepared in your mind otherwise you could quit before you even get started.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I needed to be super conscious of the fact that I won’t be eating any food for a whole week<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This was a huge step for me, for my health, for my weight loss progress and I was ready to take that big step. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On my very first day of fasting, I woke up, took a cup of tea, and then I started my routine for the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fortunately, I work at home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, even though I felt a bit weak during the day, I could just take a rest and get back to work after.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I had 3 bottles of water ready to attack my very first day of water fasting. Basically, each time I felt hungry, I just had one or two glasses of water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And then it was noon, time for lunch but I had to drink water only and I was proud that I didn’t even think about having lunch. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I started fasting on a Monday and the next day, I was down by 2.8kgs. And it went like this for the next days until I lost 10kgs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I went from 67kgs to 57kgs<\/strong> in just seven 7 days. You can see the results in my cheeks HA!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My Water Fasting Results <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

One of the very super sensational feelings I\u2019ve experienced after 7 days of drinking water only (besides weight loss) was that I felt reinvigorated. It was like I came back from holidays LOL<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was more energetic than before, I felt healthier and I was more motivated to exercise. So, after a few days, I started jogging for 1 hour every morning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I didn’t crave for chocolates, pastries, or any of these stuff and was more focused on preparing healthy salads for lunch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Weight Loss<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Since there was no calorie entering my body, my ketone bodies were getting higher and because of this, my body’s source of energy was not glucose anymore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instead, my body looked out for energy directly from my fat storage. Because my body was now in a ketosis state, I was able to burn fat much faster than a typical low carb diet. That’s why I lost 22 pounds in just one week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Natural Detoxification<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

During a fasting period, our liver is triggered to pull all toxins out of your body. And I could feel the improvement in my body and health although I have any health issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rejuvenation<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

When your body is clean of toxins, your organism is like new. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As my body got cleansed during this week of fasting, I could really feel a boost in my energy level. I was more motivated to exercise and I started jogging for 1 hour every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s not something I can explain but I was way more productive, more focused, and more concentrated in my work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, here’s my water fasting results that I hope will motivate you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Water fasting is a healthy and safe way to lose weight fast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, it’s good to consult your doctor if you have health issues, minor or major, before starting a water fasting diet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
