Find A Weight Loss Buddy<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
You know that phrase \u2018Surround yourself with like-minded people\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Well, going through a diet with a weight loss pal has many benefits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Firstly, you know you have a shoulder to rely on in times when you may want to give up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sometimes, people that aren\u2019t in your shoes might not always understand your feelings, the hurdles in front of you etc…<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For example, let\u2019s say you\u2019re at a party and there are lots of unhealthy snacks on the table and you know (based on where you are in your journey) if you eat a few of these, this will have an impact you don\u2019t want on your weight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Regular people will tell you \u2018hey c\u2019mon don\u2019t be such a baby\u2019 or \u2018C\u2019mon what will a few glasses of coke do to you?!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But your weight loss buddy will encourage you to stick to your decision and will not influence you to give yourself up to the bad snacks, soft drinks, and all these stuff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As I said before, not everybody reacts the same way to a diet and each and everyone loses weight at their own pace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Another scenario might be this: You might be at a point where you\u2019re not seeing the results you want and might want to give up. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
But your weight loss pal is seeing amazing results and is very motivated in his\/her journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Because of this, he\/she can pass on that motivation to you by sharing what\u2019s working for him\/her. And this in turn motivates you to keep going and try a few different things that might improve your results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Seek Support<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Support from people who\u2019ve already walked the walk is so uplifting and refreshing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nowadays, the digital world offers us so many platforms where we can connect with people who have gone through a weight loss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Feeling stuck? Need advice? There are amazing Facebook groups and forums online where you can find the support you need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If you\u2019ve purchased a weight loss program online, most of the time this coach will have a private Facebook you can join for free to connect with other people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You do not want to go through tough times alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Keeping your weight loss motivation is extremely important to reach your desired weight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Always seek support when necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Celebrate Small Wins<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Winning doesn\u2019t always mean big success!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Small wins matter the most in my opinion. Simply because it\u2019s those small gains that will carve the path for much bigger wins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If you lost only 100g in one day, don\u2019t frown upon it being too little. Instead, let this motivate you and say to yourself that you\u2019re finally losing weight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After all, losing 100g is always better than staying the same weight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Share Your Weight Loss Progress<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
I remember when I lost my very first 3lbs, I was so proud and happy I wanted to share it with everybody.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When this will happen to you, you\u2019ll feel the same. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
But be cautious! Not everyone will be happy when you progress in life. Yikes! That\u2019s the cruel side of life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So, know with whom you share your progress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I recall feeling odd when I shared my journey with a friend and said to me \u2018Oh Nat I prefer when you were chubby chubby\u2019 ????<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I wasn\u2019t upset but annoyed!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There are people who can slap you with mean comments and this can put you down and shut off your motivation, especially at the beginning stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You can have people telling you something like this \u2018Mmm you can lose some weight but you won\u2019t become thin because you\u2019re a big-boned\u2019. A friend of mine got this in her face and was so furious ????<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Again, share your progress with your closest family members and friends only.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For the rest, let them tell you how much your body has changed ????????<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n
