When I say beginner, I’m not referring to someone who doesn’t even know what social media is. LOL<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The amount of money you can make with social media management is definitely yours to decide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What I mean is if you want to make $10k per month and say you want to charge $2000 per client, then work your *** off to get those 5 clients, which won’t be easy as pie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But it’s absolutely doable through hard work, dedication and a clear strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So, how much can a social media manager make in 2021:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If you want to work high portfolio clients which have the budget to pay you, then you can charge a minimum of $2500 per month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But if you work with small businesses who only want just a few clients more, they can offer a max of $1000 per month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Maybe you can get luckier than me!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Like I told you a few lines before and I worked with a handful of dentists in California, doing their social media management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I managed to close deals around $1500 – $2500 per month. This is to say that there are niches that aren’t so willing to spend in this area although the return on investment could be huge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I even got one prospect who said to me: “I have enough patients that have been with me for 10 years. Why want more? I was baffled! But then I understand that not everybody wants to become a millionaire.lol<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The responsibility of being a social media manager is not just posting pictures to entertain your client’s audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It’s more than that. Keep in mind that a client won’t pay you to just upload a few cute pictures here and there but to actually bring in their business more clients and increase their bottom line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instagram users love seeing beautiful and attractive images to please their eyes. That’s why I’ve taken the beauty shop as an example.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This audience will rather want to view the actual picture and footage of the actual beauty products rather than reading tweets about new products that have just reached the store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the contrary, a consulting business will definitely see more of an engaging audience retweeting their tweets rather than posting photos of their office on Instagram.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Pro-Tip:<\/strong> If your client’s business’s products and services can be represented in amazing photos and has an actual audience on Instagram, go for it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Pinterest? Really? Am I kidding you? Keep that in mind!<\/p>\n\n\n\n The very first step is to choose an industry you will want to work with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This might sound odd to you but my recommendation for success is to niche down the choice of your industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n You don’t want to work with every niche under the sun, right?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Businesses are always on the lookout for social media managers who have already worked in their niche before. Some business people will trust you only if you’ve had results for some other business in the same niche as theirs.
